Ich denke gern „aus der Box“, um die Ecke und über den Tellerrand hinaus. Angefangen habe ich mit der Gestaltung von Printsachen in einer kleinen Werbeagentur. Mein weiterer Werdegang führte mich u.a. zu Audi und BMW und aus Print wurden digitale Produkte in Auto und App.

I like to think outside the box, around corners, and beyond the obvious. I started out designing print materials at a small advertising agency. My career later took me to Audi and BMW, among others, and print turned into digital products for cars and apps.

Ich empfinde es als Privileg, Produkte zu gestalten, die Probleme im Alltag lösen, sowohl für Tausende als auch für einen Einzelnen. Und zwar nicht nur so, dass sich jeder auf Anhieb zurechtfindet, sondern die Produkte auch mit Freude nutzt.

I consider it a privilege to design products that solve everyday problems, for thousands of people as well as for a single person. And not just so that everyone finds their way around right away, but so that they enjoy using them, too.

Privat habe ich das Pizzabacken für mich entdeckt. Auch wenn mein Fußballverein, für den ich sympathisiere, mir das Leben nicht immer leicht macht, ist eine selfmade Pizza eine willkommene Aufmunterung an dem ein oder anderen Wochenende. Und spätestens seit meiner Zeit in Bayern habe ich das Wandern lieben gelernt. Heute nicht mehr so oft, aber dafür umso länger.

In my free time, I’ve discovered a love of making pizza. Even though the soccer team I root for doesn’t always make life easy, a homemade pizza is a welcome pick-me-up on the odd weekend. And ever since my time in Bavaria, I’ve learned to love hiking. These days I go less often, but for longer.
